Burglary Insurance

The Burglary policy provides indemnity against loss or damage to property following forcible or violent entry or exit from insured premises.  Assets such as office equipment, stock in trade, furniture fixtures and fittings.

a) Loss due to fraudulent, dishonest or criminal acts of insured or his employees
b) War, Strike, Riot, Civil Commotion and malicious damage
c) Loss of manuscript records or accounts
d) Mere disappearance, shortage or consequential loss
e) Theft and larceny
f) Nuclear reaction, radiation or radioactive contamination

Physical Hazards
This include:
a) Poor/No burglar protection poorly secured door, windows or airwells
b) Isolated and unlighted streets
c) Inadequate police protection/patrol/security/watchmen

Moral Hazards
a) Over insurance being evidence of desire to gain in case of burglary
b) Proposer indulging in careless acts, carelessness, excessive drinking, gambling and speculation
c) Premises used for illegal purposes
d) Proposers business doing poorly
e) Proposer having a higher standard of living than he can afford
f) Proposer associating with people of questionable behavior
